Genesis is serving California's Inland Empire and beyond by providing professional counseling in a committed Christian emvironment!


Walter Linn, D.Min., Ph.D.

Walter (MFC16431), founded Genesis Counseling Service in 1978.  Walter has worked with couples and families for the last 40 years, including speaking at seminars and conferences.  He consults with churches and businesses and serves as a Personal Life Coach with pastors and businessmen.  He and his wife, Gayle speak at couples retreats and parenting seminars.


Eve Clayton, C.P.A.

Eve has served as Director of Operations for Genesis Counseling Service since 1988. In addition to her office duties, she conducts seminars on financial management and personal weight control and coaches golf at a local high school.  She has been married for 28 years.


Kim Womack, BA, Receptionist

Kim comes to Genesis from Forest Home Ministries where she worked in guest relations.  Now she enjoys serving in the front office providing support to clients and staff.  Kim is married to Gary and they have four adult sons.


Luda Leinster, M.S.

Luda licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFC36179) and  serves as the Clinical Director at Genesis. She has over thirty years experience working with couples, individuals and families.  Luda offers in-depth insights based on Biblical principles of spiritual and emotional health. She has expertise in: marriages or families in conflict, issues such as anxiety, depression, forgiveness, grieving losses and gender identity problems.


Susan Logan, M.S.

Susan (MFC24526) graduated from California Baptist University with a degree in counseling psychology in 1984.  On Genesis staff for twenty years, she is currently Director of the center in Ridgecrest. Susan specializes in marriage counseling and working with adolescents. She is married to Bill, who is pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church of Ridgecrest and they have 4 children.


Claudia Beeler-Smith, M.S.

Claudia is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFC45920) She has experience in helping adults/children improve self-esteem. She works with children and adults with learning disabilities and facilitates child/teen adjustment to divorce. Claudia offers pre-marital counseling, teaches successful marital communication tools and helps teens/adults deal with gender preference issues.


Frank Jefferson-Glipa, M.S.

Frank is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFC42577) with a wide range of experience dealing with couples and family conflict, individual therapy, substance abuse and significant mental health disorders.  He specializes in working with adolescents and families, couples, and interracial relationships.  In addition, he has experience with families working through issues of adoption, foster care, and blended family combinations.  He is a Certified Instructor for Nonviolent Crisis Intervention and combines practical skills with a strong Biblical and Spiritual foundation. 


Brian Dale Holmes, M.S.

Brian is a registered Marriage and Family intern (IMF50046).  He counsels couples, individuals, teens and children. Brian teaches domestic violence intervention and has experience in the treatment of batterers. He also holds parenting groups for parents of troubled teens. Brian graduated from Cal Baptist University with a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy.


Susan Little, M.A

Susan is a registered Marriage and Family Intern (IMF62818).Susan has earned a Master of Arts degree from Azusa Pacific University in Clinical Psychology.  She has experience working with a wide range of ages and problems, and especially likes her work with children and adolescents.  Susan seeks to support clients through empowering them to make positive choices in their lives and relationships.



Claudia Bouslough, M.S.

Claudia is a registered Marriage and Family intern (IMF 60285). She partners with couples, individuals, teens and children to overcome relational, emotional and spiritual issues. She is certified in Prepare and Enrich for premarital and marital counseling. She earned her M.S. in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University.

Sonya White, M.S.

Sonya is a Marriage and Family Intern (IMF64700)

  Her educational experience has prepared her to work with couples, individuals and children, with a special interest in counseling with autistic  children and their parents. She has earned her Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University.

 

Teresa Preszler, B.A., Receptionist

Teresa has a B.A. in Behavioral Science.  With ever a friendly smile, she serves in the front office when she's not looking after her husband and their son. She is also volunteers in her church as a youth and young adult leader.
